BRITISH CRAFTSMANSHIP
A well-made candle is as much about how it burns as how it smells. The relationship between wax, fragrance and wick determines the quality of the flame, the melt of the wax and the way scent is released into a room.
Union of London candles are made in Leicestershire using wide braided cotton wicks, chosen to create a generous, steady flame and an even melt across the glass. Each fragrance is carefully balanced for a clean, consistent burn from first light to last.
It is a simple object, but one where considered materials and small details make all the difference.

After years spent refining the perfect candle, Mark Staples founded Union of London to create fragrances that transform the atmosphere of a room.
Now based in Leicestershire, the brand's hand-poured candles are crafted using responsibly sourced European soy wax and a distinctive wide braided cotton wick, creating a generous flame, even burn and exceptional scent throw. Thoughtfully designed and beautifully made, they bring warmth, fragrance and a quiet sense of occasion to everyday life.

Justin Capp is a British leather craftsman with over 25 years’ experience. Working from his rural Northamptonshire studio, he combines traditional hand carving, tooling and stitching with practical design to create distinctive leather pieces made to last.
Alongside his own practice, Justin runs leatherworking workshops from his studio and teaches at the Marangoni Institute in London, passing on the skills and techniques at the heart of his craft.
