Airy Li is a linen label founded in Kyiv in 2018 and inspired by the landscapes of Crimea, the peninsula in southern Ukraine where its founder, Limara, grew up. Its name reflects the lightness of the fabric and a way of meeting life with gratitude.
Early colour combinations drew on Crimean scenery, and later collections took their colours and shapes from the places life has since led her. The war put that journey on pause in 2023, and the label now continues in the UK, from the Cambridgeshire countryside.
Made for those tired of trend-chasing and big labels, Airy Li offers no aggressive marketing, countdown timers or manufactured urgency. The brand is built on comfort, sustainability and natural fabrics made to last, with no rush, overproduction or waste, and respect for both nature and people.

THE COLLECTION
Airy Li’s tea towels are beautifully crafted from 100% linen and designed to be used again and again.
These towels earn their place in the kitchen as a quietly essential tool, adding a splash of colour and texture to the room.
Available in forest green, honey mustard or grey/white stripes.
Beautifully made sourdough sets, crafted from 100% linen and designed to be used again and again.
Each set includes a bowl cover for fermentation and a bread bag that keeps a fresh loaf at its best for longer. French seams finish every piece neatly inside and out, giving a clean look and lasting reliability.
Just as at home in the pantry as the bakery, linen bags are endlessly useful for storage, foraging and gifting.
BRITISH CRAFTSMANSHIP
Textiles have long been part of Britain’s domestic and working history, from linen woven for household use to the woollen cloth produced by generations of spinners and weavers. Natural fibres were valued for their strength, versatility and longevity, with fabrics carefully maintained, repaired and repurposed rather than discarded.
This tradition of making good use of materials remains as relevant today as ever. Linen, cotton and wool offer an enduring alternative to synthetic fabrics, becoming softer and more characterful through use and care.
It is an approach shared by Limara, the maker behind Airy Li, whose work is guided by a respect for natural materials and a commitment to minimising waste. Each piece is made by hand, with offcuts put to good use and an emphasis on simple, practical things intended to last.
