THE NOTSWOLDS COLLECTION
Good work by good people. A collection of furniture, objects and things for the home, made across our corner of England.
A wheel-thrown ceramic plant pot with a hand-shaped ruffled rim and delicate ceramic bow. Complete with a matching saucer and drainage hole.
Each pot is thrown and altered by hand, with the ruffles individually shaped and the bow formed around the centre. The nature of the process means every piece is slightly different, with its own arrangement of folds, curves and details.
Lead time
4-6 weeks. Please get in touch should you have any urgent requirements and we will accommodate what we can.
Handcrafted in small batches, this charming rectangular cushion is upholstered in naturally dyed linen by Madder & Cutch and finished with a tailored Oxford trim.
Printed and coloured using 100% plant dye colourants, the fabric carries the richness, softness and subtle variation that comes through traditional dyeing processes. The Woad colourway is a deep, earthy blue inspired by traditional natural dyes, bringing richness and depth while still feeling soft and organic through the natural character of the cloth.
Balancing a contemporary use of colour with the timeless quality of hand crafted textiles, it feels as at home in a modern townhouse as it does in a layered country interior.
Composition: 100% Linen
Colourants: 100% Plant Dyes
Finished with a luxurious feather pad.
Oakleaf is a richly layered all-over pattern that brings warmth, rhythm and quiet character to a room.
Drawn from a historic design in the Bruce Fine Papers archive, the original was discovered pasted to the back of a picture frame and is thought to date from the 18th or 19th century. Carefully restored, it is now reissued using traditional hand block printing, preserving the softness, depth and irregular beauty of the original.
With its scrolling leaf forms and balanced repeat, Oakleaf feels both decorative and enduring, equally at home in a country house, townhouse or more contemporary interior.
Minimum order quantity 2 rolls.
A contemporary take on the traditional milking stool, made in solid hardwood with a hand-woven rush seat by Summerfield + Scott in Northamptonshire.
Small in stature but surprisingly useful, its pared-back timber frame is topped with rush harvested and prepared by hand, then woven in the workshop using traditional techniques. Each stool is made individually, with variations in the timber grain, colour and rush weave giving every piece its own character.
Designed to move around the house and find its own purpose — beside the bath, next to a bed, as a footstool or a seat for smaller members of the household. A familiar piece of country furniture, reconsidered for the contemporary home.
Lead time

The Chapel Lantern is a collaboration between celebrated lighting designer Maxwell Barlow Lighting and Notswolds, taking its cue from the Georgian buildings that define much of the Notswolds landscape.
Drawing on the proportion and restraint of the period, the Chapel Lantern is a structured, architectural light suited to both traditional and modern interiors.
Handmade in the Notswolds, each lantern is shaped by traditional metalworking techniques, with a hand-beaten top and carefully worked frame. Finished with an opal glass shade that gives a soft, even light, it is available in a range of finishes.
Shown in Antique Brass finish.
