CHAPEL LANTERN | MAXWELL BARLOW LIGHTING x NOTSWOLDS

£3,495.00
SELECT FINISH:

The Chapel Lantern is a collaboration between celebrated lighting designer Maxwell Barlow Lighting and Notswolds, taking its cue from the Georgian buildings that define much of the Notswolds landscape.

Drawing on the proportion and restraint of the period, the Chapel Lantern is a structured, architectural light suited to both traditional and modern interiors.

Handmade in the Notswolds, each lantern is shaped by traditional metalworking techniques, with a hand-beaten top and carefully worked frame. Finished with an opal glass shade that gives a soft, even light, it is available in a range of finishes.

Shown in Antique Brass finish.

Designed by Maxwell Barlow, one of the UK’s most respected lighting designers, the light draws on the architectural language and quiet character of the Notswolds. Rooted in atmosphere, proportion and the transformative quality of light, it reflects a thoughtful approach shaped by work across distinguished private homes and international projects alike.

  • Each piece is made in the Notswolds in collaboration with a leading Lincolnshire metalsmith, using traditional metalworking techniques to produce lighting of exceptional quality. Shaped by decades of experience across some of the country’s most considered interiors, it reflects a standard of British workmanship increasingly hard to find.

Built to last and designed not for seasons or trends, but for long use and everyday life, each light is realised through enduring craft knowledge and hands-on skill.
